Monitor Audio Bronze FX

The Bronze FX is designed specifically for the surround channels of a Bronze Series home theater, providing a wide and immersive presentation rather than the focused sound of a conventional bookshelf speaker. Its angled front and side-panel design directs sound across the room, helping create a convincing surround field for movies, television, and multichannel music.

The speaker uses a 5.5-inch C-CAM mid-bass driver supported by two Gold Dome tweeters. The tweeters incorporate Monitor Audio's Uniform Dispersion Waveguide, which helps provide consistent dispersion and smooth integration with the mid-bass driver. This arrangement contributes to clear effects and a spacious surround presentation.

The selectable dipole/bipole switch provides additional flexibility depending on the room and system configuration. In bipole mode, the drivers operate in phase for a more direct presentation, while dipole mode creates a more diffuse sound field. Monitor Audio recommends positioning the speakers approximately two feet above ear height for surround applications.

With its sealed cabinet, compact dimensions, dedicated wall-mounting system, and recessed connections, the Bronze FX is easy to integrate into a clean home theater installation. Combined with other Bronze Series models, it provides the broad, enveloping surround effects needed to complete an immersive multichannel system.
