REL 212 S/X

The REL 212/SX is a reference-level powered subwoofer designed to deliver exceptionally deep, powerful, and controlled bass for high-end two-channel and home theater systems. It combines two front-firing 12-inch long-throw active drivers with two 12-inch passive radiators, creating a four-driver architecture capable of moving substantial amounts of air while maintaining speed, precision, and dynamic control.

At the heart of the 212/SX is a 1,000-watt NextGen5 Class-D amplifier, paired with REL's Continuous CastAlloy™ active drivers reinforced with carbon-fiber blades. The subwoofer also incorporates the company's PerfectFilter™ technology, designed to extend and flatten the deepest bass while preserving detail and integration with the main speakers.
