The Paradigm Defiance X10 is a high-performance powered subwoofer designed to deliver deep, powerful, and highly controlled bass for demanding stereo and home theater systems. Its 10-inch carbon-loaded polypropylene driver incorporates Paradigm's patented Active Ridge Technology (ART™), allowing greater cone excursion while reducing distortion.
The Class-D amplifier delivers 300 watts of continuous power and up to 600 watts of dynamic peak power. Combined with the ART™ driver and internally braced cabinet, the X10 is designed to produce high sound pressure levels while maintaining precision, detail, and control.
Its bass-reflex enclosure uses a high-velocity, low-turbulence port design to support extended low-frequency output. The X10 reaches down to 24 Hz according to the DIN standard, while its on-axis frequency response extends from 29 Hz to 240 Hz ±3 dB.
The X10 also includes Anthem Room Correction (ARC®) and smartphone app control for convenient setup and tuning. Users can adjust volume, crossover, phase, and other bass parameters directly from the listening position, while the optional Defiance WT Wireless Kit provides additional installation flexibility.
