The Matrix Audio MP-1 is the company's flagship pure Class A analog preamplifier, designed to provide exceptional signal transparency and precise control within high-end stereo systems. As part of the Matrix Audio M Series, it serves as the ideal companion to the MA-1 power amplifier and MS-1 music streamer, delivering reference-level performance through meticulous analog engineering.

Its fully balanced architecture employs four independent amplification modules, allowing both balanced and single-ended input signals to benefit from differential signal processing. A high-bias pure Class A output stage, free from crossover distortion, delivers smooth, natural sound with outstanding dynamics and extremely low noise.

The MP-1 features a precision 100-step relay-controlled resistor ladder volume control, providing accurate channel matching and consistent sonic performance across the entire volume range. Independent level adjustment for each input and multiple simultaneous outputs offer exceptional flexibility for complex high-end audio systems, including bi-amplified speaker configurations.

Built around a dual-mono linear power supply with dedicated toroidal transformers and housed in Matrix Audio's precision-machined H-shaped aluminum chassis, the MP-1 minimizes interference while maximizing musical accuracy.
