The Paradigm Founder 80F is a 4-driver, 2.5-way floorstanding loudspeaker designed to deliver a combination of precision, control, and dynamic performance. Its architecture combines a 1-inch AL-MAC™ ceramic dome tweeter, a dedicated 6-inch AL-MAG™ mid/bass driver, and two 6-inch CARBON-X™ bass drivers in a ported enclosure.

The AL-MAC™ tweeter incorporates Paradigm's Oblate Spheroid Waveguide (OSW™) and Perforated Phase-Aligning (PPA™) Lens to provide controlled dispersion and detailed high-frequency reproduction. The AL-MAG™ midrange/mid-bass driver also uses a PPA™ Lens and Advanced SHOCK-MOUNT™ isolation to reduce unwanted vibration and improve clarity.

For low-frequency reproduction, the two CARBON-X™ drivers use Gen3 Active Ridge Technology (ART™), a Vertical Mounting System, and Advanced SHOCK-MOUNT™ isolation. Together with the rigid Cascade-Fusion braced cabinet, these technologies are designed to provide powerful, controlled bass while minimizing cabinet resonance and distortion.

With 93 dB room sensitivity, compatibility with 8-ohm amplification, and a recommended amplifier range of 15–220 watts, the Founder 80F can deliver substantial output without requiring extremely powerful amplification. Its premium cabinet construction and Canadian craftsmanship make it suitable for demanding stereo systems as well as high-performance home theater installations.
