At the top of the Founder Series, the 120H introduces a unique hybrid design that combines traditional passive architecture with an integrated 1000-watt amplifier dedicated to the bass section. The Paradigm Founder 120H is a high-performance hybrid floorstanding loudspeaker that combines passive mid/high-frequency amplification with an integrated 1,000-watt amplifier dedicated to its bass section. This architecture allows the external amplifier to focus on the midrange and treble while the internal amplifier handles the demanding low frequencies.

The speaker uses Paradigm's 1-inch AL-MAC™ ceramic dome tweeter with OSW™ Waveguide and PPA™ Lens, together with a 6-inch AL-MAG™ midrange driver. These technologies are designed to provide controlled dispersion, accurate imaging, reduced distortion, and detailed reproduction of vocals and instruments.

For bass reproduction, the Founder 120H employs three 8-inch CARBON-X™ Unibody drivers with Gen3 ART™ Surround, Advanced SHOCK-MOUNT™ isolation, and a Vertical Mounting System. The combination of high-excursion drivers and dedicated amplification allows the speaker to deliver powerful, extended bass, with a DIN low-frequency extension reaching 18 Hz.

The 120H also incorporates Anthem Room Correction (ARC™) through its internal amplifier, allowing the bass response to be optimized for the listening room. With its rigid Cascade-Fusion braced cabinet, advanced driver technologies, and hybrid amplification design, the Founder 120H is engineered for high output, precision, and full-range performance in demanding stereo and home theater systems.
