The Paradigm Defiance V12 is a high-performance powered subwoofer designed to deliver deeper and more powerful bass for stereo and home theater systems. Its 12-inch carbon-loaded polypropylene driver is powered by a 120-watt RMS Class-D amplifier, with up to 250 watts of dynamic peak power for demanding passages.
Its bass-reflex cabinet incorporates a high-velocity, low-turbulence port design that supports extended low-frequency performance while minimizing unwanted port noise. The V12 reaches down to 22 Hz according to the DIN measurement standard, providing substantial low-frequency depth for movie soundtracks, music, and special effects.
The Defiance V12 offers flexible adjustment through its variable 35–120 Hz low-pass filter and continuously adjustable 0–180° phase control. These controls allow the subwoofer to be integrated with the main speakers and optimized according to the room and listening position.
The V12 is Anthem Room Correction (ARC®) ready and can be controlled through Paradigm's smartphone app. RCA, LFE, and speaker-level connections provide flexible installation options, while the optional Defiance WT Wireless Kit allows wireless integration for a cleaner setup.
