The Paradigm Defiance V10 is a compact powered subwoofer designed to add deep, controlled bass to stereo and home theater systems. Its 10-inch carbon-loaded polypropylene driver is powered by a 120-watt RMS Class-D amplifier, with up to 250 watts of dynamic peak power for demanding passages.
Its bass-reflex cabinet uses a high-velocity, low-turbulence port design to improve airflow and support extended low-frequency performance. The V10 reaches down to 26 Hz according to the DIN measurement standard, while its on-axis response extends from 29 Hz to 200 Hz ±3 dB.
The Defiance V10 can be controlled through Paradigm's smartphone app, providing convenient adjustment of volume, crossover, and phase. The low-pass filter is continuously variable from 35 to 120 Hz, while phase can be adjusted from 0° to 180° to optimize integration with the main speakers.
The subwoofer is also Anthem Room Correction (ARC®) ready, allowing its response to be optimized for the listening environment. With RCA, LFE, and speaker-level inputs, plus optional wireless connectivity through the Defiance WT kit, the V10 offers flexible integration into a wide range of audio and home theater systems
