The Focal 300 ICLCR5 is a high-performance 3-way in-ceiling loudspeaker designed specifically for discreet, high-fidelity home theater installations. Its LCR design allows it to serve as a left, center, or right channel, while its Flax cone technology and Aluminum/Magnesium inverted-dome tweeter provide natural, detailed, and precise sound reproduction.
The speaker combines two 5-inch Flax woofers, a dedicated 4-inch Flax midrange, and a 1-inch Al/Mg tweeter. The midrange-treble assembly can be adjusted horizontally toward the listening position, helping maintain accurate imaging even when the speaker is installed off-axis.
Focal's Flax cone technology provides a balance of lightness, rigidity, and damping, contributing to controlled bass and highly intelligible vocals. The tweeter level can be adjusted by ±3 dB, while the midrange level can be adjusted by ±2 dB, allowing the speaker to be optimized for different acoustic environments.
Installation is simplified by Focal's Easy Quick Install (EQI) system, which allows the speaker to be installed without tools. Its supplied square magnetic grille is ready to paint, allowing the 300 ICLCR5 to blend discreetly into the ceiling while providing a versatile solution for front, center, rear, or height channels in a custom home theater.
