The ARCAM A5 is built around a Class AB amplifier platform developed from more than 45 years of amplifier design experience. New components and materials were carefully selected throughout the design process to deliver the musicality and sound quality that have become a hallmark of ARCAM amplifiers.
Digital playback is supported through an ESS ES9018 digital-to-analog converter and a range of high-resolution digital inputs, allowing connection of streamers, televisions, CD players, and other digital sources. Support for audio up to 24-bit/192kHz ensures compatibility with modern high-resolution music formats.
Bluetooth connectivity incorporates Qualcomm aptX Adaptive technology, enabling high-quality wireless audio playback from compatible smartphones, tablets, and computers. The A5 also supports Bluetooth transmission, allowing music from connected sources to be streamed directly to compatible wireless headphones.
A dedicated moving magnet phono stage is included for turntable integration, while additional analog and digital inputs provide flexibility for a wide variety of source components. Combined with its clean Radia industrial design and comprehensive connectivity, the A5 serves as a versatile entry point into high-performance two-channel audio.
