At its core, it uses a dual force-cancelling driver configuration, where two high-excursion 9-inch drivers operate in opposition to eliminate cabinet vibration. This results in exceptionally tight and controlled low-frequency performance with minimal distortion even at high output levels.
Power delivery is handled by a high-efficiency 1000W Class D amplifier, providing significant headroom for demanding cinematic material. Combined with KEF’s Music Integrity Engine (MIE) and Intelligent Bass Extension (iBX), the system maintains clarity and control while extending usable low-frequency response.
