The KEF Reference 2 Meta is a high-performance floorstanding loudspeaker designed as part of KEF’s flagship Reference series. It is engineered to deliver studio-level accuracy and exceptional musical realism in both stereo and multichannel systems.

At its core, it features KEF’s Uni-Q driver array with Metamaterial Absorption Technology (MAT), which significantly reduces high-frequency distortion and internal resonance. This results in cleaner treble reproduction and improved spatial precision across the entire listening area.

The bass system uses dual 6.5-inch hybrid aluminum drivers designed for tight, controlled low-frequency performance. This allows the Reference 2 Meta to deliver both depth and speed while maintaining excellent integration with the midrange and treble.

Its advanced cabinet construction incorporates constrained-layer damping and internal bracing to minimize unwanted resonance. This ensures that the loudspeaker maintains extreme neutrality and accuracy, making it ideal for reference-grade listening environments where precision is critical.
