The SA45 is built around ARCAM's newest streaming and digital audio platform, developed using a six-layer board design with a dedicated ground plane to minimize noise and interference throughout the signal path. Digital conversion is handled by the latest ESS Hyperstream IV DAC architecture operating within a fully balanced design, allowing the amplifier to extract maximum performance from both streamed and connected digital sources.
A newly engineered linear toroidal power supply provides low-noise operation while supporting ARCAM's 5th generation Class G amplifier topology. Delivering 180 watts per channel, the SA45 combines the efficiency advantages of Class G operation with substantial current delivery and dynamic capability for demanding loudspeaker loads.
The integrated streaming platform supports Apple AirPlay 2, Google Cast, Spotify Connect, TIDAL Connect, Qobuz Connect, and Roon Ready operation. Network setup and control are handled through the ARCAM Radia app, while the large 8.8-inch front-panel display provides clear visibility of album artwork and playback information from across the room.
Dirac Live room correction is included to optimize system performance within the listening environment, while dual subwoofer outputs provide additional flexibility for system integration. Alongside MM and MC phono inputs, HDMI eARC connectivity, and comprehensive analog and digital inputs, the SA45 functions as a complete high-performance music system in a single component.
