The Silver FX 7G is designed specifically for the surround channels of a high-performance home theater system, where creating a broad and enveloping sound field is more important than producing a tightly focused sound image. Its angled baffles distribute sound across the room, helping surround effects move naturally around the listener.
The 6-inch C-CAM RST II mid-bass driver provides controlled midrange and low-frequency reproduction, while the two Gold Dome tweeters extend the high-frequency response and contribute to the speaker's wide dispersion. The UD Waveguide II helps maintain consistent and controlled distribution of high frequencies.
A key feature is the selectable dipole/bipole configuration. This allows the Silver FX 7G to be optimized for different surround applications: bipole mode provides a more direct presentation, while dipole operation creates a more diffuse sound field that can be beneficial for immersive cinema environments.
The compact sealed cabinet is designed for discreet wall installation, with dedicated keyhole mounts and recessed connections. Used with other Silver Series 7G models, the Silver FX 7G provides the broad, immersive surround layer needed to complete sophisticated multichannel systems, including Dolby Atmos® configurations.
