Monitor Audio Gold 5.1

The Gold 5.1 system is built around the Gold 300 floorstanding speakers, which serve as the main left and right channels. Their three-way design combines dual 8-inch RDT II bass drivers, a dedicated 2.5-inch C-CAM midrange driver, and an MPD high-frequency transducer, providing the scale, dynamics, and detail necessary for a reference-level front soundstage.

The Gold C250 center channel is engineered to reproduce dialogue and central soundtrack information with exceptional clarity. Its three-way configuration uses dual 6.5-inch RDT II bass drivers, a dedicated 2.5-inch C-CAM midrange driver, and an MPD transducer, creating a tonal match with the Gold 300 while maintaining excellent vocal intelligibility.

For the surround channels, the Gold FX uses a compact sealed enclosure with dual MPD high-frequency transducers and dual 4-inch C-CAM bass/midrange drivers. Its design creates a broad, enveloping sound field that helps surround effects move naturally around the listening position, making it particularly well suited to dedicated home theater applications.

The system is completed by the Gold W12 powered subwoofer, which provides the deep low-frequency foundation required for cinematic effects and music. Together, the Gold 300, Gold C250, Gold FX, and Gold W12 form a cohesive high-end 5.1 system capable of combining powerful dynamics with the detailed, realistic presentation for which the Gold Series is designed.
