The Merason Mountain DAC is the flagship digital-to-analog converter in Merason's new Mountain Series, developed as the digital heart of the company's reference-class audio system. It is designed for uncompromising music reproduction, combining technical precision with a natural and highly expressive presentation.

The Mountain DAC is engineered to translate digital music data into a finely resolved and exceptionally spacious sound image. Merason emphasizes depth, detail, clarity, and composure, with the goal of reproducing recordings with a high degree of realism while preserving their musical character.

Supporting PCM formats up to 192 kHz / 24-bit as well as DSD64 and DSD128, the Mountain DAC is designed to accommodate a wide range of high-resolution digital sources. Its balanced XLR and unbalanced RCA outputs provide flexible integration with high-end preamplifiers and amplification systems.

With its substantial 18 kg chassis and 45 cm-wide reference-series construction, the Mountain DAC is designed as a serious centerpiece for a high-end digital audio system. When combined with the Mountain Pre and Mountain Power, it forms Merason's flagship reference system, focused on precision, resolution, dynamics, and natural musical expression.
