The KEF LS50 Meta is a compact high-performance bookshelf loudspeaker designed for accurate and immersive music reproduction. It is an evolution of KEF’s iconic LS50, refined with advanced acoustic engineering for improved clarity and reduced distortion.

At its core, it features KEF’s Uni-Q driver array with Metamaterial Absorption Technology (MAT), which absorbs unwanted high-frequency resonance behind the tweeter. This results in cleaner treble, improved detail retrieval, and a more natural, transparent sound signature.

The 2-way design integrates a 130 mm Uni-Q driver that handles both midrange and bass frequencies, allowing for precise imaging and a highly coherent soundstage. Despite its compact size, it delivers impressive depth and musicality when properly positioned and amplified.

Its rigid, low-diffraction cabinet is designed to minimize coloration and diffraction effects, ensuring accurate sound dispersion. The result is a speaker that delivers reference-level detail, tight imaging, and exceptional transparency in a small-form-factor design suitable for audiophile listening environments.
