Focal Kanta N°1

The Focal Kanta N°1 is a premium 2-way bookshelf loudspeaker that combines compact dimensions with the sophisticated technologies of Focal's Kanta range. Designed for high-fidelity listening, it pairs a 6.5-inch Flax bass/midrange driver with a pure Beryllium IAL3 tweeter to deliver a warm, musical, precise, and highly detailed presentation.

The Flax cone is made using Focal's patented sandwich construction, combining French flax fiber with fiberglass for an excellent balance of lightness, rigidity, and damping. The TMD® suspension and NIC motor further improve control and neutrality, helping the Kanta N°1 reproduce the midrange with exceptional clarity and low coloration.

The 27 mm IAL3 pure Beryllium inverted-dome tweeter provides extended high-frequency response up to 40 kHz and excellent reproduction of fine musical details. Focal's High Density Polymer front panel and Focus Time design help reduce unwanted diffraction and optimize the speaker's acoustic integration.

With its wide rear bass-reflex port, rigid molded multi-ply cabinet, and optional dedicated stand, the Kanta N°1 is suitable for both compact high-end stereo systems and larger setups where space is limited. Its modern combination of matte front panels and premium high-gloss or walnut cabinet finishes also makes it a distinctive addition to contemporary interiors.
