The Sonos Five is a high-fidelity wireless speaker designed to deliver powerful, detailed sound with an exceptionally wide stereo presentation. Its six-driver architecture combines three tweeters and three midwoofers, with six dedicated Class-D amplifiers precisely matched to the acoustic design.
The three midwoofers provide rich bass and accurate midrange reproduction, while the center tweeter focuses on vocals and the two angled side tweeters create a broader stereo soundstage. Its sealed cabinet helps minimize unwanted resonance and distortion, allowing the Five to maintain clarity even at high volume levels.
Trueplay automatically analyzes the acoustics of the listening room and adjusts the speaker's EQ for optimized performance. The Five can also be used individually, paired with another Five for dedicated stereo playback, or integrated as surround speakers in compatible Sonos home theater systems.
