The Paradigm Essentials Sub 12 is a compact powered subwoofer designed to deliver deep, powerful, and controlled bass for music, movies, and gaming. Its 12-inch high-excursion carbon-loaded polypropylene driver is housed in a sealed MDF cabinet with a reinforced woofer baffle.

The integrated Class-D amplifier delivers 350 watts of continuous power and up to 700 watts of peak power. A 56-bit high-resolution DSP engine provides advanced signal processing, while improved soft-clipping circuitry helps maintain clean and controlled performance during demanding passages.

With a frequency response extending from 19 Hz to 200 Hz and a DIN low-frequency extension of 17 Hz, the Essentials Sub 12 provides substantial bass depth despite its relatively compact enclosure. Its sealed, forward-firing design also allows it to integrate easily into a variety of room layouts.

The subwoofer offers flexible system integration through RCA Left/Right-LFE inputs, a variable 40–120 Hz low-pass filter, and 0–180° phase adjustment. It is also compatible with Paradigm's optional Subwoofer Wireless Kit, providing greater freedom when positioning the subwoofer in the listening room.
