Building on the critically acclaimed original Evo 150, the SE edition refines the core formula with upgraded amplification, an improved ESS Sabre DAC, and enhanced internal engineering, delivering a more musical and engaging listening experience.

At its heart is a Hypex NCOREx Class D amplifier custom-tuned by Cambridge Audio to achieve 150 watts per channel into 8 ohms, providing the warmth, dynamics, and control needed to drive a wide range of loudspeakers. The ESS Sabre ES9018K2M DAC handles digital-to-analog conversion, supporting high-resolution PCM up to 24-bit/384kHz and native DSD256 playback for exceptional clarity and depth across all source types.

Built around the StreamMagic Gen 4 platform, the Evo 150 SE offers seamless access to Spotify Connect, TIDAL Connect, Qobuz, Deezer, Amazon Music, AirPlay 2, Google Cast, and Roon Ready operation. A full suite of analog and digital inputs — including balanced XLR, RCA, optical, coaxial, USB Audio, and a built-in moving magnet phono stage — makes it a versatile hub for turntables, CD players, televisions, and more.
