Anthem MCA 325 Gen 2

To complement the NEW AVM 90 and 70 A/V Processors, Anthem introduces the new MCA 525, 325, and 225 GEN 2 power amplifiers. These new MCA amplifiers, available in 5, 3, and 2-channel configurations, feature more robust and efficient power and heavy-duty reliability. The new MCA Series delivers lower THD (total harmonic distortion) for cleaner, pure sound and lower noise for a supremely quiet background.

The MCA 525 GEN 2, MCA 325 GEN 2, and MCA 225 GEN 2, designed and Crafted in Canada, are like no other amplifiers in the world: custom low noise high-power toroidal transformers; high-current bipolar output transistors; high-quality filter capacitors; advanced power supply regulators; oversized aluminum heatsinks; custom-designed dual binding posts; and patented auto-on/off circuitry. Superior craftsmanship that is reflected in clean, clear, audiophile-quality sound from top to bottom of the frequency spectrum.

The Anthem MCA 325 Gen 2 is a three-channel power amplifier designed for high-performance home theater and audio systems. Utilizing a fully discrete Class AB topology, it delivers 225 watts per channel into 8 ohms, providing substantial power reserves for front left, center, and right channel applications where dynamic capability and clarity are critical.

At the heart of the amplifier is Anthem's advanced power supply architecture, built around a low-noise toroidal transformer and high-current output stage. This design enables the MCA 325 Gen 2 to maintain excellent loudspeaker control while delivering the current required for demanding speaker loads and wide dynamic swings.

The Gen 2 platform incorporates improved internal layouts, shorter signal paths, and refined power supply regulation to reduce noise and enhance overall performance. High-quality components and substantial heatsinking contribute to long-term reliability and consistent operation under demanding listening conditions.

Balanced XLR and unbalanced RCA inputs provide flexible integration with AV processors, preamplifiers, and receivers. Combined with Anthem's Advanced Load Monitoring (ALM) protection system, the MCA 325 Gen 2 is engineered to deliver clean, controlled, and detailed amplification for premium home theater and music systems.
