The ARCAM A25 is the flagship integrated amplifier in the Radia series, featuring ARCAM's proprietary Class G amplification technology. Delivering 100 watts per channel into 8 ohms, the amplifier combines the sonic advantages of Class A operation at lower output levels with the efficiency and power reserves of higher-voltage rails when greater dynamics are required. This design provides low distortion, excellent loudspeaker control, and substantial power delivery when needed.
Digital audio performance is centered around an ESS Sabre ES9280A PRO DAC capable of processing PCM signals up to 32-bit/384kHz and DSD1024. Optical, coaxial, and USB-C digital inputs allow direct connection of computers, streamers, CD transports, and other digital sources while maintaining high-resolution playback capability.
Wireless connectivity is provided through Bluetooth with Qualcomm aptX Adaptive support. The A25 functions as both a Bluetooth receiver and transmitter, allowing music to be streamed from compatible mobile devices or sent directly to supported wireless headphones.
For analog sources, the amplifier includes three line-level inputs and a dedicated moving magnet phono stage for turntable integration. A stereo preamplifier output enables connection to external power amplifiers or powered subwoofers, making the A25 suitable for both traditional two-channel systems and more advanced audio installations.
