The Bronze W10 is engineered to provide the low-frequency foundation of a Bronze Series stereo or home theater system. Its 10-inch C-CAM long-throw driver is designed for substantial excursion, while the matching 10-inch ABR increases bass output without requiring a conventional front- or rear-firing port. This combination helps produce deep and controlled bass from a relatively compact enclosure.
The integrated 220-watt Class-D amplifier provides the power necessary for dynamic bass reproduction, while the high-current switch-mode power supply is designed to maintain strong output during demanding passages. The subwoofer's low-pass filter can be adjusted between 40 and 120 Hz, allowing its response to be matched to the main speakers and room.
Three DSP presets—Music, Movie, and Impact—provide different bass characteristics depending on the application. The adjustable 0°/180° phase control also helps optimize integration with the main speakers, while automatic signal sensing can place the subwoofer into standby when no audio signal is detected.
With LFE and stereo RCA inputs, a 12V trigger connection, and a compact internally braced MDF cabinet, the Bronze W10 is suitable for both two-channel and multichannel systems. It was designed as the dedicated subwoofer for the Bronze 6G range and forms part of Monitor Audio's Bronze home theater configurations, including the Bronze 200 AV Dolby Atmos® 5.1.2 system.
