The Focal 1000 ICLCR5 is a high-end 3-way in-ceiling loudspeaker designed for uncompromising home theater and high-fidelity installations. It combines two 5.125-inch “W” cone bass drivers, a dedicated 4-inch “W” cone midrange, and a pure Beryllium inverted-dome tweeter to deliver exceptional clarity, dynamics, and detail while remaining discreetly integrated into the ceiling.
Its sophisticated design features a horizontally adjustable midrange-treble plate that can be directed toward the listening position. This makes the ICLCR5 exceptionally versatile, allowing the same speaker to serve as a front left, center, or right channel, as well as a rear or height channel in a custom home theater system.
Focal's pure Beryllium inverted-dome tweeter extends response up to 40 kHz, while the proprietary “W” cone technology provides controlled, transparent, and highly detailed bass and midrange reproduction. Tweeter and midrange levels can also be adjusted to compensate for room acoustics and optimize performance for the installation.
Installation is simplified by Focal's Easy Quick Install system, which allows the speaker to be installed without tools. Square magnetic grilles are supplied ready to paint, allowing the 1000 ICLCR5 to blend almost invisibly into the ceiling while delivering the performance required for premium stereo and immersive Dolby Atmos home theater systems.
