The Focal Cinema SUB is a reference-level passive subwoofer designed for uncompromising private home cinema installations. It features two 13-inch W cone woofers derived from Focal's professional Sub12 technology, delivering powerful, controlled bass with the dynamics required for large cinema rooms.
Its dual-woofer configuration provides substantial acoustic output and maximum excursion, reproducing the impact of explosions, sound effects, and low-frequency musical content with exceptional authority. The proprietary W sandwich cone combines lightness, rigidity, and damping to maintain precision and minimize distortion even at high output levels.
Designed to work alongside the Cinema LCR, the Cinema SUB is highly modular and can be combined with multiple units to create a customized low-frequency system. It can be installed in-wall, on-wall, or freestanding, and positioned horizontally or vertically according to the requirements of the room.
The Cinema SUB is engineered for large private cinemas of up to 200 m² and can be integrated with Cinema LCR and selected 1000 Series speakers to create a complete Utopia Cinema system.
