The Focal 300 ICW8 is a premium 2-way coaxial in-wall/in-ceiling loudspeaker designed for high-fidelity music and home theater installations. Its 8-inch Flax cone mid-bass driver and 1-inch Aluminum/Magnesium inverted-dome tweeter deliver powerful, natural, and well-defined sound while maintaining a discreet architectural appearance.
The larger 8-inch Flax driver provides extended and controlled low-frequency reproduction, reaching down to 35 Hz at -6 dB. Focal’s Flax cone technology combines lightness, rigidity, and damping to produce a neutral, detailed presentation with excellent dynamics and minimal coloration.
The adjustable and directional tweeter allows the high frequencies to be oriented toward the listening position and adapted to the room’s acoustics. The 300 ICW8 is also well suited to Dolby Atmos, stereo, and surround applications, providing an immersive soundstage from an integrated ceiling or wall installation.
Installation is simplified by Focal’s EQI (Easy Quick Install) system, which requires no tools or screws. The speaker includes both round and square magnetic grilles that can be painted to match the interior, allowing the 300 ICW8 to blend seamlessly into residential spaces.
