The Focal 1000 IWSUB Utopia is a high-performance passive in-wall subwoofer designed to bring powerful, deep bass to premium stereo and home theater installations. It features three 6.5-inch W cone bass drivers and Focal's advanced acoustic technologies, delivering exceptional power handling while maintaining the discreet appearance of an architectural speaker.
Its dedicated in-wall architecture allows the IWSUB Utopia to be installed either horizontally or vertically, providing considerable flexibility when designing a custom system. It is specifically designed to integrate seamlessly with the 1000 IWLCR Utopia, creating a complete Utopia-level in-wall home theater solution.
The three W cone drivers use Focal's sandwich construction, combining lightness, rigidity, and damping to achieve controlled and precise bass reproduction with low distortion. The design reaches down to 32 Hz at -6 dB, adding substantial low-frequency impact to music and cinematic soundtracks.
The IWSUB Utopia can be combined with multiple additional units, with installations supporting up to 16 IWSUB Utopia subwoofers. Supplied Speakon cables facilitate connections between units, while the magnetic grille can be painted to match the wall for an almost invisible installation.
