1000 IWLCR Utopia

The Focal 1000 IWLCR Utopia is the flagship in-wall loudspeaker of the 1000 Series, designed for uncompromising high-end home cinema and stereo installations. Its seven-driver, three-way architecture combines four 6.5-inch W cone woofers, two M-shaped W cone midrange drivers, and a pure Beryllium inverted-dome tweeter for exceptional dynamics, transparency, and detail.

Its positionable D’Appolito midrange-tweeter assembly can be rotated by ±15°, allowing the acoustic image to be precisely directed toward the listening position. This makes the 1000 IWLCR Utopia particularly versatile as a left, center, or right channel in a custom home theater, whether installed vertically or horizontally.

The W cone technology provides a combination of lightness, rigidity, and damping for highly controlled and transparent reproduction, while the pure Beryllium tweeter extends high-frequency response to 40 kHz. The speaker also offers independent adjustments for the tweeter, midrange, and woofers, allowing performance to be customized to the room and installation.

The closed-back MDF and aluminum cabinet allows the 1000 IWLCR Utopia to behave like a traditional high-end loudspeaker while remaining discreetly integrated into the wall. A magnetic, paintable grille provides a seamless finish, and the speaker can be combined with the 1000 IWSUB Utopia for an even more powerful and complete Utopia home cinema system.
