The Focal 1000 IW6 is a premium 2-way in-wall loudspeaker designed to provide high-fidelity performance while remaining discreetly integrated into the wall. It combines a 6.5-inch “W” cone midrange/bass driver with a pure Beryllium inverted-dome tweeter, delivering detailed, transparent, and dynamic reproduction for both music and home theater.
Its closed-back construction allows the 1000 IW6 to behave much like a traditional loudspeaker, providing controlled and linear bass performance without relying on the surrounding wall cavity. The proprietary “W” cone combines lightness, rigidity, and damping to achieve low distortion and highly accurate midrange and bass reproduction.
The pure Beryllium tweeter provides extended high-frequency reproduction and exceptional microdetail, while its adjustable orientation allows it to be directed toward the listening position. The tweeter level can also be adjusted to better match the room’s acoustics and installation conditions.
Designed for discreet custom installations, the 1000 IW6 features a magnetic grille that can be painted to match the wall. Its compact in-wall design makes it particularly suitable for high-end home theater applications, including rear channels, while also providing the performance needed for high-quality stereo listening.
