The Focal 1000 ICW6 is a premium 2-way in-wall/in-ceiling loudspeaker designed for high-fidelity stereo and home theater installations. Made in France, it combines Focal’s 6.5-inch “W” cone midrange/bass driver with a pure Beryllium tweeter to deliver highly detailed, transparent, and dynamic sound while remaining discreetly integrated into the room.
Its pivoting mid-high section allows the speaker to be directed toward the listening position, providing greater control over sound dispersion and imaging. The adjustable tweeter level also makes it possible to fine-tune the speaker according to the room’s acoustics and installation position.
Focal’s “W” cone technology uses a sandwich construction designed to balance lightness, rigidity, and damping, helping produce precise midrange and bass reproduction with low distortion. The pure Beryllium inverted-dome tweeter extends high-frequency reproduction up to 44 kHz, contributing to the speaker’s detailed and refined presentation.
Installation is simplified by Focal’s Easy Quick Install system, which allows the speaker to be mounted without tools. Square and circular magnetic grilles are included and can be painted to match the surrounding surface, making the 1000 ICW6 an excellent choice for discreet architectural audio systems and high-end home theater installations.
