The Paradigm Founder 40B is a compact two-way standmount speaker designed to deliver high-performance sound from a relatively small enclosure. Its rear-ported cabinet combines a 1-inch AL-MAC™ ceramic dome tweeter with a 6-inch AL-MAG™ mid/bass driver, providing a detailed and dynamic presentation.

The AL-MAC™ tweeter incorporates Paradigm's Oblate Spheroid Waveguide (OSW™) and Perforated Phase-Aligning (PPA™) Lens. These technologies are designed to improve dispersion, phase alignment, and high-frequency clarity, helping create a wide and precise soundstage.

The 6-inch AL-MAG™ mid/bass driver combines a lightweight aluminum-magnesium cone with Gen3 Active Ridge Technology (ART™), PPA™ Lens, and Advanced SHOCK-MOUNT™ isolation. This design is intended to provide strong excursion, controlled bass, and reduced unwanted vibration.

With 92 dB room sensitivity, compatibility with 8-ohm amplification, and a recommended amplifier range of 15–150 watts, the Founder 40B is easy to integrate into a variety of stereo systems. Its compact dimensions make it suitable for dedicated stands, while its premium construction and finishes complement the rest of the Founder Series.
