Designed, engineered, and Crafted in Canada, the STR Power Amplifier delivers 400 Watts/channel into 8 ohms with both channels driven, a massive 600 Watts/channel into 4 ohms (both channels driven), and 800W in 2 ohms for true no-holds-barred performance.

Inside, the STR Power Amplifier uses two colossal transformers and multiple high-current output devices, so the most subtle details and dynamic peaks are handled equally well. Outside, its beautifully designed cosmetics, including a 7-inch graphic control display and secure, highly conductive audiophile connectors, perfectly match the STR Preamplifier.

The Anthem STR Power Amplifier is a reference-grade stereo power amplifier designed to deliver exceptional power, control, and transparency for high-performance two-channel audio systems. Utilizing a fully discrete Class AB topology, it provides 400 watts per channel into 8 ohms and substantial current delivery into lower-impedance loads, allowing it to drive demanding loudspeakers with authority and precision.

At the heart of the amplifier are dual high-current toroidal transformers and a robust power supply architecture engineered to provide exceptional dynamic headroom and stable performance under demanding conditions. This design enables the amplifier to reproduce wide dynamic swings while maintaining low distortion and accurate signal reproduction across the entire frequency range.

The fully balanced internal design and carefully optimized signal path contribute to low noise levels, excellent channel separation, and precise stereo imaging.
